If a person finds that he lacks inner drive and zeal for good
deeds, a technique to generate inner feelings is to behave externally
as if you already feel enthusiasm.
We have more control over our actions than our emotions. So if we utilize what is in our power, we will eventually acquire what is not as much in our power. The external enthusiasm will then create an inner joy and a strong desire for spiritual growth.
